Indoor Mural
I am currently painting an indoor mural at a doctor's office in Kingston, NH, measuring roughly 8' x 10.5'.
The preliminary color sketch:
THE PAINTING BEGINS
1. The beginning stage of the mural, a monochrome brush drawing with thinned raw umber acrylic paint:
2. Starting to block in the major colors in the landscape and establish the major values:
3. More of the block-in, mostly trying to cover up the white of the walls. Also, continuing to establish the structure of the tree through drawing and punching up the values:
I will be posting updates of progress throughout the entire painting process. Look for more updates in the future.
